Sandra Hunt, PhD, is a wife, mother, professor, project manager, business consultant, educator, but most importantly a child of God. She holds an MBA from Oakland University and her Ph.D. in Management from Cappella University.  She retired from Hewlett-Packard in August 2012 and is currently serving a a founding faculty member of the Match High School and Career Center where she leads and facilitates the college career readiness and entrepreneurship programs. Dr. Sandy is also a member of the board of directors for the Indiana Right To Life organization, where she serves to bring knowledge to the community about the worth of all human life.  Dr. Sandy continues to be an influential leader within the community.

Dr. Sandy served for several years as the Assistant Community Spiritual Director of New Hope Great Banquet (NHGB).  New Hope Great Banquet is a 96 hour ministry retreat with a dual focus on racial reconciliation and reconciliation with Christ. It has been attended by over 1500 people throughout the past 17 years. She also led and assisted the facilitation and support in the birth of the New Hope Awakening, a ministry which services young people ages 15-19.

 

At New Life, Dr. Sandy leads the Transformed Women’s Ministry and Manna From Heaven food pantry as well as oversees all Christian Education activities for the church. She is a highly sought after orator and has spoken at over 60 women’s retreats and conferences.

She has been married to Andrew Hunt, III for 47 years and has three adult children; Andrew (Trena), Andrea (Tomi), and Brandon (Nikita). She is also the grandmother of six; Quierra and Drew, Grace and Joseph, and Brandon and Brooklyn.

 

Sandra's favorite pastime is spending time with and spoiling all of her grandchildren. In fact, according to all of her grandchildren, she is the world’s greatest Gigi!  She loves the Lord with all her heart and always seeks opportunities to be His hands and feet.
